About Curious Minds

Curious Minds is an award-winning, city-wide festival in Bath celebrating curiosity as a force for connection, creativity and change.

This is a festival where you can listen deeply, let loose and have fun, challenge assumptions, try something new or simply enjoy a moment of connection in good company. Above all, it’s a reminder that curiosity - about ourselves, our world and each other -  is something we can’t afford to lose.

Kate Abbey, Artistic Director says “It takes a whole city to build a festival - our brilliant guest curators, collaborators, venues, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who brings their energy and ideas make every bookshop, museum, or pub a space for curiosity, laughter, and discovery. I feel so lucky to be part of a festival that creates space for people to slow down, connect and turn ideas into shared moments.”

Previous line-ups have featured names including: Jeremy Bowen, Elif Shafak, Lucy Mangan, Three Bean Salad, Caroline Lucas, Peter Frankopan, Natasha Brown, Ros Atkins, Vanessa Kissule, Gabriel Gatehouse, Hollie McNish, Diane Abbott, Patrick Grant and Robin Ince…
